Safety - Areas Free From Hazards
There is a large opening in the outdoor fence surrounding the outdoor play area where a child may be able to escape. One play structure outside has some rusting on the structure which creates sharp edges that children can cut themselves on as well as fallen rust pieces that may be ingested. There is some trash and discarded pieces of plywood in the area of the oudoor play space where children may be playing. A nest of yellow jacket wasps was found inside of a decorative bell hanging in the outdoor play area which presents a stinging hazard for caregivers and children alike. Multiple play structures are in slight disrepair and may need cleaning, pressure washing, or replacement. A presssure washer device is in the middle of the outdoor play space for children where they may attempt to use the hardware.
