Privacy policy

Cubbycheck republishes public childcare inspection records. You can use every record page without an account. If you create one, this policy explains what we keep, why, and how to take it with you or delete it.

What we keep

We never ask for your child’s name, birth date or photo.

Before 29 September 2026, lists made without an account were kept in the browser. If one is still there, we offer to add it to your account when you sign in; whether you add it or not, it is then removed from the browser.

What we use it for

To show your list on every device you sign in to, send the sign-in links and alerts you ask for, email you a tour plan when you request it, and answer messages you send us. Nothing else.

What we never do

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages and tools people use. They see pages visited, clicks and device details. We never send them your email address, notes or answers. Your browser’s Do Not Track setting doesn’t change this; you can block these tools with a browser extension without losing any Cubbycheck feature.

Who helps us run the site

Vercel hosts the site. Supabase runs the database. Resend delivers email. Google provides sign-in, if you use it, and analytics. Microsoft provides Clarity. Each handles data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Your choices

California residents, and anyone else, can also ask what we hold about them or ask us to delete it by writing to the address below.

Children

Cubbycheck is for parents and other adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so on this page and, for account holders, by email before it takes effect. Questions or requests: hello@cubbycheck.com.
