Based on observations and interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by leaving the children unattended while the site supervisor was stepping away from the classroom to go to the front door to open the door for LPA, and the other teacher was in the kitchen preparing lunch for the children in which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Plan of correction: Staff Meeting will be held to focus on supervision. The site supervsior will email LPA the teachers’ meeting agenda and the sign-in sheet from this meeting. The site supervisor will also always provide adequate supervision while the childcare children are in the teachers’ care.
