Based on interviews and record review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as the licensee allowed C1 to enter the garage, an off-limit area during daycare hours, which poses/posed a potential health and safety risk to persons in care.

Licensee stated she will watch Department training video titled: ‘Locks and Inaccessibility Requirements in Child Care’ and ‘Supervising Children in a Family Child Care Home' and provide a written summary of the video. Also, licensee stated she will write a written statement reflecting how the facility will maintain compliance with cited regulation. Licensee stated the POC will be submitted to the San Diego Regional Office by 10/31/2022. LPA provided ccld.childcarevideos.org.
