Based on LPAs observations, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as upon entering the facility LPAs observed an awake infant sitting within a baby bouncer. LPAs also observed an additional vacant baby bouncer within the day-care room, as well as a vacant excersaucer. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Licensee removed infant from the baby bouncer when asked to do so by LPA during today's inspection. Licensee removed both bouncers and exersaucer from the day-care room and placed them in an off-limit area. Licensee stated that this equipment will be removed from the family child care home permanently (FCCH) today. Licensee stated that she understands that bouncers and exersaucers are not permitted for usage in FCCHs. LPAs provided a safe sleep handout and discussed content with licensee. Deficiency cleared at visit.
