Based on results received from the certified water samplers, the facility exceeded 5.4 parts per billion (ppb) of lead in its water source. This level is above the allowable threshold and presents a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

The director stated that fixture "I" will be retested and that fixture "C" will be permanently removed. Fixture "C" was observed being worked on by a plumber. LPA Leong requested that the facility notify the office once both fixtures are corrected. Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, The facility has not completed the lead water testing required within 180 days of licensure. The facility was licensed on 2/27/2025, and the lead testing has not been completed, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.
A correction plan is recorded. No state verification date is shown.

The director was observed signing up for the lead water test. The facility was instructed to provide forms LIC 9275, LIC 9276, and the facility sketch to LPA Leong once the lead test has been completed. The facility was also instructed that the lead test results must be uploaded to the California Water Boards website in order to clear the deficiency.
