Operation of A Family Child Care Home

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed cleaning compunds (fabuloso, stainless steel and stove top cleaner) stored in a cabinet underneath the kitchen sink, a knife in the drying rack on the counter by the kitchen sink that was accessible to children which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

During today's inpspection Licensee immediately removed cleaning compunds and placed them in a hallway closet that is inaccessible to children by use of a doorknob spinner and removed knife from drying rack and placed on a top shelf in the kitchen cabinet.
