  Administration of Child Day Care Licensing
  Based on LPA observations, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as 1 of 7 staff (volunteer) present at the facility during the inspection did not have a fingerprint clearance associated to the facility and was providing care and supervision to the children, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
  Plan of correction: Director will complete the fingerprint clearance transfer so staff (volunteer) will be associated to the facility by 07/01/2025. If the fingerprint clearance transfer is unsuccessful, Director will notify LPA right away.

  Based on LPA observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed toddlers eating snacks and sleeping in the same area with preschool-age children, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
  Plan of correction: Director will ensure toddlers will not comingle with preschool-age children indoors and outdoors for all activities. LPA will return on or within 10 days of the POC Due Date to conduct a POC visit for the purpose of clearing the deficiency. Director may also notify LPA if the POC has been finished before the due date.

LPA will return on or within 10 days of the POC Due Date to conduct a POC visit for the purpose of clearing the deficiency.   Plan of correction: Director may have exisitng staff with ECE units to enroll in the remaining requirements to be on track to be fully-qualified or hire fully qualified staff. Director may also adjust children's attendance to ensure teacher-child ratio can be maintained. LPA will return on or within 10 days of the POC Due Date to conduct a POC visit for the purpose of clearing the deficiency. Director may also notify LPA if the POC has been finished before the due date.

  Plan of correction: Staff is to be removed from premises immediately until fingerprint clearance is obtained. Director will email written statement to confirm removal of staff from facility to jialing.zhu@dss.ca.gov by 08/02/2024.
