Infant Safe Sleep

Based on observation and interview, the licensee stated she was not aware that sleep logs were required for children over 12 months old and was unable to provide 15 minute sleep logs for C4 and C5. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above for two out of two infant files reviewed during today's inspection which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

The licensee started 15 minute sleep logs for C4 and C5 while LPA was present and will continue logs until C4 and C5 turn 24 months old. Licensee agreed to continue safe sleep logs for all infants, ages 0-24 months in care. Licensee will email completed copies of sleep logs 11/24/25 to 12/10/25 for C4 and C5 to jennifer.patel@dss.ca.gov.
