Based on [(observation) (interview) (record review)], the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The refrigerator has expired food stored in it, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Recorded plan of correction
The person incharge immediately removed the expired food items and placed them in a separate area for disposal. The facility will implement a documented, ongoing process to check all refrigerated food items daily to ensure timely removal of any expired products. The person incharge shall submit a written Plan of Correction (POC) to the LPA by 07/24/2026, outlining the monitoring procedure, responsible staff, and frequency of checks.
