      Administration of Child Day Care Licensing

      Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that mandated reporter certification for S2 expired on 5/4/2024, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

      Plan of correction: Director stated that he will ensure that AB1207 Mandated Reporter certification for S2 is completed. Director stated that he provide proof to the SDRO, no later than 7/31/2024.

      Correction due Jul 31, 2024. Standard 1596.8662(b)(1).

      Teacher Aide Qualifications and Duties

      Based on observation, interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that LPA observed S1 who is an aide, alone in classroom 1 with 6 children which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

      Plan of correction: Deficiency cleared during time of inspection. The Director immediately combined the children from classroom 1 into another classroom with qualified teachers.
