      Buildings and Grounds

      Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that LPA observed various stains on the walls, various boxes and items stacked upon each other on top of the preschool and toddler classroom's cubbies, and toddler rug held various dark stains, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

      Plan of correction: Administrator stated that various stacked items will be organized, toddler rug will be washed, and stains on walls will be wiped down. Administrator will provide the Department with images of all areas and a photos of rug.

      Administration of Child Day Care Licensing

      Based on record review, the Administrator did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed that Staff #1 did not observe a current complete the Mandated Reporter training, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

      Plan of correction: Per Administrator, Staff #1 will complete renewal training and provide proof of completion to CCL Fresno Child Care Office by July 01, 2022

      Child Care Center Director Qualifications and Duties

      Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Upon arrival LPAs met with Staff #1 who stated they was currently the person in charge. Both Director and Assistant Director were not present. LPAs were unable to review Designation of Facility Responsibility (LIC 308) and other documentation to verify that staff #1 is designatined to act on the Director's absence. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

      Plan of correction: Teacher stated they will dicuss with Director on how to provide CCL the Designation of Facility Responsibility (LIC 308) form. Teacher stated that she will have Director follow up with LPA and submit form LIC 308 to CCL by 7/14/2022.

      Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Staff #1 stated they were are unable to provide LPAs children and staff records due to records being locked in cabinet and only available to Director via key. LPAs were unable to review records which poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.

      Plan of correction: Teacher stated they will discuss with Director on to how make records easily accessible for future inspections. Teacher stated she will have Director follow up with LPA and send a statement on how she plans to have records easily accessible and submit to CCL by 7/14/22.
