Based on interview and record review, staff S1 was supervising children without another staff person present and does not meet the qualifications or alternative qualifications of a teacher, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Licensee/Director (D1) stated she plans to be present in the classroom with Staff, S1 who has 6 units and together they will not have more than 18 children, until she is able to hire another teacher.
D1 stated she plans to hire a fully qualified teacher and will submit an updated LIC500 and teacher transcripts once they are hired. D1 will submit a written plan on how she'll meet the staffing requirements.
