LPA learned a parent addressed a day care child in an inappropriate and threatening manner in the classroom. Although staff intervened & took steps to prevent future incidents, all accounts corroborated the incident occurring. This poses an immediate risk to the health & safety of children in care.

Assistant Director (AD) said she will hold a staff training where they will go over classroom management and how to prevent these types of situations. AD will provide LPA with a copy of the attendance sheet with signatures. AD will also provide all currently enrolled families with a copy of pg. 32 of the parent handbook: Suspension and Explusion, and remind families that a child or family member's behavior or actions that threaten or endanger the safety and well-being of other children or staff can result in suspension and/or explusion.
