Based on licensee's interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that licensee administered medication to a day care child without prior authorizationn which poses an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
A correction plan is recorded. No state verification date is shown.
Recorded plan of correction
Licensee states in her contract that she does not administer medication to daycare children & states this was a 1 time ocurence. Since the incident, the licensee has reiterated this rule to her assistants and parents and has not and will not administer any medication again without authorzation from the child's authorized representative. Licensee states she will complete a written statement acknowledging understanding of the regulation and will submit it to the SDRO by 07/31/2026.
