Operation of A Family Child Care Home

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in there was 2 lysol wipes containers and 1 lysol toilet bowl cleaner on the back of the toilet that the children use and the trash cans in the backyard are accessible to the children which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

The licensee removed the Lysol from the back of the toilet and placed it in a locked area that is inaccessible to children. The licensee will ensure that all cleaning compounds and other potentially hazardous items remain inaccessible to children at all times. The licensee also stated that she will block off the trash cans in the back and make them inaccessible to children in care.
