Furthermore, LPAs observed that the outdoor activity tables had dirt and debree on them. Buildings and Grounds
During the outdoor activity space inspection LPAs observed bird feces on the outdoor water fountain that is accessible to children in care. Furthermore, LPAs observed that the outdoor activity tables had dirt and debree on them. The mulched surface areas had hair like debree mixed with the woodchips and the concrete surface had bird feces, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Plan of correction: Director Fernandez stated that she will ensure that the outdoor space is maintained cleaned by scheduling the landscaping crew to frequently clean the outdoor space area. Director Fernandez will submit a landscape maintenance schedule along with a written statement on how she will ensure that the outdoor area is frequently observed for debris before children go outdoors to play. Director Fernandez agreed to submit the POC by 05/12/2025 to CCLD Fresno via text/email.

During the inspection LPAs observed a cabinet in Classroom A with a broken key latch that had cleaning products stored in the bottom cabinet that was accessibel to children. In Classroom B LPAs observed a plastic cabinet that was not locked, the cabinet was used to store arts and crafts however a Lysol cleaning spray and sanitizing wipes were accessible to children. Which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Plan of correction: Director Fernandez stated that the latch broke and will submit a work order for the cabinet located in Classroom A. Furthermore, Director Fernandez removed the cleaning solutions to another area that were innaccessible to chidlren in care. Director Fernandez stated that she will submit proof of the cabinet latch repairs to CCLD Fresno via email/text by POC deadline.
