Program Lead (PL) advised that staff at the center just completed training on March 1, 2023, which included an emphasis on personal rights and supervision. PL will provide LPA with a list of staff who attended. PL also advised that staff currently address interactions between children as they happen and will provide LPA with a document outlining how they speak to the children about being respectful of each other’s bodies and what to do if they do not feel safe.

Interim Assistant Site Supervisor Rodriguez explained that schedule has been modified to ensure that 2 staff members take children to/from the playground and/or field. Staff has been reminded of their duty to provide visual supervision and expectation of name-to-face recognition during transition. A live document was created and laminated so staff can track transitions with dry erase.
A Staff Meeting with topices to include visual supervision is scheduled for 3/9/2022. Interim Assistant Site Supvervisor Rodriguez stated that copies of Meeting Agenda and Sign-In Sheets will be submitted to the Department.
