Based on LPA observation, the facility did not comply with regulation stated above as the facility was using a blanket and a Boppy for sleeping infants inside the cribs. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
A correction plan is recorded. No state verification date is shown.
The lead teacher immediately removed the blanket and Boppy from the two infant's cribs. LPA also advised all staff to conduct trainings regarding Infant Safe Sleep Regulations. Signatures of staff who attended the training and a copy of the trainings covered must be sent to LPA. Facility director and owner also stated that the facility will remove Boppy pillows entirely in the facility. Deficiency cited today will be cleared.
