Minor(a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. Deficient Practice Statement 1 2 3 4 Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above because there were children in multiple classrooms sleeping in only their diapers which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

The Director will watch the Videos on personal rights on the CCLD website cdss.ca.gov and submit a letter of understanding on what they learned regarding providing healthful and comfortable accommodations to the children by POC date 10/08/26. The letter may be emailed to LPA Mario Caro at Mario.Caro@dss.ca.gov
